GCE PE Course Work (Soccer/Hockey- Week 1)

For this Terms GCE PE Coursework, the boys will be doing Invasion games.
They will have an option of either Soccer or Hockey.
The class will be split in 2 and lessons will be conducted simultaneously.

Here we see the boys in their first session for Hockey. Although most of them have played Hockey and Floorball in their time with VS, we still start from the basics to ensure that everyone will have a good grasp of the fundamentals.

In this clip, we see the second half of the class undergoing their soccer module.

Welcome back to school!

Hi boys,

After a long break, it's back to school in Term 3.
Well, many of us went travelling during the June Holidays.
I went for a long awaited vacation with my wife to Japan.

After which, I did a 5-day training stint in Phillipines with my martial arts buddies there.
Some of our class boys went to Mecca for their Haj, while others went to Malaysia, Hong Kong for family holidays.

But I guess, none of our travels can compare to that by Matt who travelled to 42 countries in 14 months. Enjoy!

Recycle!

There will be a recycling campaign going on in class starting from next term (well, it should have started long ago, but better late than never!) Each class should have 2 containers to collect paper and plastic bottles respectively. And on one of the days in a week, some kind soul will have to volunteer himself, to carry those recycled materials to the back of the canteen. (:

Anyway, for people who tend to bring sweet drinks up, please at least rinse them before placing in the plastic bottles container.

And any kind of papers are allowed in the container for papers. (newspaper, worksheets, draft papers etc.)

So guys, if you've any big containers or boxes, please bring them to school as we'll be setting up the class recycling area at the back of the class.

Thanks a lot for helping out your-very-responsible-environmentalist. :D
